CHECK YOUR E-MAIL THROUGH THE WEB:


A great tool that can be used to check your email when traveling or while away from your personal computer. This can be used instead of an email client such as Microsoft Outlook. It allows you to login at any computer with internet access and check and send email.
  1. Open you web browser and go to: http://mail.yourwebsite.com
    (Change the name in bold to your websites domain name)

  2. Enter your "Name" and "Password" in the spaces provided and click "Log In!" Your username and password can be provided by your web designer or by clicking here if you don't have them.
    Note: Your Name my be different then your email address.

  3. You are now viewing the INBOX. Here you will see your current email located in your INBOX folder. To read an email simply click on the subject of that email.
    Note: If you also check your email with Microsoft Outlook, the webmail will only display email messages that have not yet been downloaded to your computer.

  4. Many options are available:.
    Click "Compose" to send a new email message.
    Click "Addresses" to keep an email list of contacts.
    Click "Folders" to create additional folders to help manage your emails.

SETUP MICROSOFT OUTLOOK 2000/EXPRESS

  1. In Microsoft Outlook, along the top navigation bar go to Tools, and select Accounts.
    Note: Different versions of Outlook may look slightly different.

  2. Within Internet Accounts, select Add, then Mail.
  3. (A) Select POP3 as the incoming mail server.
    (B) Your incoming mail server (POP3) will be mail.yourdomain.com (replace bold text with your website's domain name)
    (C) Outgoing mail server will be your existing Internet Server Providers (ISP) outgoing mail server.
    Note: You can contact your ISP for this information or use the same outgoing server as an existing email box.
    Click Next.
  4. Enter your (D) "Account Name" (or User Name) and your (E) "Password"
    Click "Next" and then "Finish" to complete.
    Note: Pay close attention to spelling. Fields are case sensitive and are generally lowercase. Your Account Name may not be the same as your email address name.

SETUP MICROSOFT OUTLOOK 2002/2003/XP

  1. In Microsoft Outlook, along the top navigation bar click Tools, and click E-mail Accounts.

  2. Select Add a new e-mail Account
    Click Next
    Add New Account
  3. Select POP3 as the server type
    Click Next.
    Select POP3
  4. Enter (A) "Your Name" and "E-mail Address"
    Enter (B) "User Name" and "Password"
    Enter incoming mail server (POP3) mail.yourdomain.com (replace text in bold with your website's domain name)
    Outgoing mail server will be your existing Internet Server Providers (ISP) outgoing mail server.
    Note: You can contact your ISP for this information or use the same outgoing server as an existing email account.
    Click Next.
    Enter Information
  5. Click Finish, Your done
    Email Setup Complete
