Website Marketing Tips:

Myth: Create a website and people will just end up there. Most of you are not trying to make all of your income through your website. Instead you are utilizing your website as a tool for your local business, may it be marketing, an online brochure, or a way for your current customers to reach your company. Below are some ways to maintain repeat customers and generate new visitors:

  1. Create an Email Newsletter
A perfect way to keep previous visitors thinking about your business and informed about new sales, information or events. Put a "Get Our Newsletter" jar or basket on your front desk to collect business cards from store visitors.
  2. Include your Domain Name
People expect businesses to have a website, and you want it to be easy for them to find. Include your business website address on business cards, letter head, yellow page ads, and any other print advertising you may be doing.
  3. Tell Your Customers
When speaking with customers over the phone and on your business voice mail message, get into the habit of informing them: 'If you have any other questions about our services, visit our website example.com for more information.'
  4. Use Your Domain for Your Email Address
Often times businesses have their own domain names, but still use their internet service provider's (ISP) email accounts (such as AOL, Earthlink, or MSN). Everytime someone gets an email from you using your ISP's email and not your own domain name, you are losing visibility. Your ISP isn't paying you to advertise their services, why not advertise your own! After your domain is active on our servers we can setup email accounts for you.
  5. Link Your Website Locally
Most cities or urban areas have website's listing local businesses. Adding your site to these local directories will help inform your local visitors better, and could help your national search engine results.
  6. Pay-Per-Click Options
Many search engines offer paid advertising to rise to the top of searches. Before deciding on one, call us to discuss what options might work best for your business. 1-877-932-7496
  7. Don't Forget Your Website's Content
The text and information is the true heart of your website. Having up-to-date information will keep visitors interested and coming back. Do you offer monthly specials to your customers? Let people know by featuring them on the website.
